We are seeking an experienced College Advisor to join our team on a very part-time, seasonal basis.Our workload is light for much of the year and typically increases in late spring and summer (now). The right candidate is comfortable starting with just a few hours per month, with the opportunity to grow to up to 30 hours per month during peak season, October and November.Who This Role Is ForThis position is a great fit for:• Current or former high school counselors• Current or former UC or college advisors• Education professionals seeking flexible, supplemental workExperience Required• 3–5 years of college advising experience• Familiarity with college admissions timelines and application processes• Experience advising high school students and familiesKey Responsibilities• Provide one-on-one college advising to students and families• Support application planning, timelines, and strategy• Review student materials and provide guidance and feedback• Communicate clearly and professionally with families• Work independently while collaborating with a small advisory team• Comfortable and excellent using ZoomTime Commitment & Schedule• Available 3 days a week, 2 hours a day between 4-6 p.m. PST. We use Calendly so you can change your weekly availability as needed.• MUST be available every week from October 15-December 15th.
