About the position

The Quality Assurance Administrator is a hybrid role responsible for supporting both Quality Management System (QMS) administrative functions and Quality Control laboratory operations. This position ensures accurate documentation, training records, audit readiness, and record retention while also assisting with product screening, sample handling, and inspection activities to support production timelines and customer requirements. This role is essential to maintaining compliance, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration across Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams.

Responsibilities

Pick up and verify production run sheets for accuracy and completenessEnter new hire orientation packets into training/document systemsPerform daily mail pickup and distribution of quality-related documentationEnter and maintain all employee training records within the systemComplete silo reportsMaintain janitorial inventory records and supply trackingProcess employee terminations within training and document control systemsCollect and file daily audit documentationCollect changeover logs and reclaim logs for record retentionReview conversion TPM documentation for completenessReview maintenance forms to ensure required information is documentedScan, file, and archive quality records per retention requirementsReview janitorial logs for completion and complianceAssist QC laboratory personnel with screening and evaluation of bags and finished productsSupport inspection activities to meet production and customer release deadlinesPrepare, stage, and transport samples for testing and evaluationAssist with product staging for inspections, audits, and testing activitiesSupport urgent quality verification tasks during peak workload periodsMaintain organization and cleanliness of the QA laboratory and work areasTransport samples, materials, and finished product between departments and laboratory areasSupport movement of materials or products between floors in accordance with safety proceduresAssist QA/QC teams during high workload or audit periodsPerform other quality administrative and operational duties as assigned by supervisor or managementRequirements

High school diploma or equivalent required1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, laboratory, or administrative roles requiredBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office, databases, scanning systems)Strong communication and teamwork skillsEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate nonstandard work hours as necessary.Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactionNice-to-haves

associate degree preferredExperience with document control, data entry, or training systems is a plusStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
