A company is looking for a Language Arts Curriculum Designer, Assessment Focus (K-5).Key Responsibilities• Write and review assessment items for K-5 educational objectives• Collaborate with writers, editors, and illustrators to ensure content accuracy and age-appropriateness• Develop project plans and research content requirements, including state educational standardsRequired Qualifications• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field focused on literacy• 2+ years of experience writing foundational reading items for assessments• Experience teaching beginning or struggling readers with a structured literacy approach• Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional design is a plus• Ability to learn new guidelines and software quickly; familiarity with HTML, Jira, or version control software is a plus
