Red Pulley Technology Solutions is seeking a Health IT Technical Writer I to support a federal Health IT modernization initiative for the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Health Services Corps (IHSC). This role performs substantive technical writing, documentation, editing, content development, and knowledge management supporting Health IT implementation, sustainment, governance, operations, training, and user understanding.
Location: Washington, DC Metro Area (Remote), with occasional onsite work required by Government
Clearance: Public Trust – Preliminary and Complete Fitness Determination Required
Employment Type: Full-Time
Status: Contingent Upon Contract Award
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum 1-3 years of experience developing technical, operational, procedural, or user documentation for complex IT or Health IT environments Excellent writing, editing, grammar, organization, and information-structuring skills Ability to translate technical subject matter into clear material for technical and non-technical audiences Proficiency with common document-development, collaboration, publishing, and content-management tools Ability to manage multiple documentation products and revisions simultaneously U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
