We’re expanding our team to meet our growing appointments and looking forsomeone who values collaboration and has strong people skills.Position: Full-Time Coder/BillerLocation: Remote (based in USA)Hourly Rate: $21-$25 (DOE)Benefits:• Fully covered medical, dental, and vision for employee and dependent children• Unlimited PTO• Full tuition at WGU for up to 4 yearsKey Responsibilities:• Accurately code and process claims for insurance reimbursement.• Ensure compliance with relevant coding and billing regulations.• Collaborate effectively with our small team to streamline billing workflows.• Provide timely follow-ups on outstanding claims.• Comfortably answer patient questions regarding claims, billing, and coding while effectively de-escalating concerns and providing exceptional customer support.Required Qualifications:• CPC Credential (Certified Professional Coder)• CPB Credential (Certified Professional Biller) preferred.• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; comfortable working as part of a small, close-knit team.• Experience in medical coding and billing (women’s health care experience a plus).• Proficiency with coding software and electronic health records (EHR).• Flexibility with learning new EHR systemsWhy Join Us?At Lactation Consultants of America, we’re committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to families, and that starts with supporting our team.
