HR Generalist (Accomodations Specialist)6-month durationThis person will join the ADA Accommodations team that is responsible for all accommodations requests related to medical conditions. The team is comprised of 6 Accommodations Program Managers.Responsabilities:As part of the ADA team, they will serve as an advisor, consultant, and decision maker on sensitive ADA accommodations. They willbe responsible for producing high quality results using their professional knowledge and strong analytical skills to ascertain the mostmutually beneficial outcome for potential and current associates which are then skillfully communicated to mitigate risk to the firm. Collaborates across internal Centers of Excellence including Legal, Compliance and Human Capital to inform and influence systemicsolutions which enable the firm’s strategic priorities, particularly in the DEI and place of belonging arena. This individual will help manage ADA Accommodations requests for medical reasons, which is a standardized and straightforward process, but there will beother cases that are not routine in nature.Qualifications:• A minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience with a basic understanding of• employment law and ADA accommodations.• Strong ability to communicate with both leadership and associates and deliver difficult messages and push back when necessary• Ability to be empathetic while maintaining boundaries and listening without validating.• Eager to learn and grow and eventually take on more responsibility.• High school diploma
